Was gonna write a blurb tonight but I feel completely ploppy (not as ploppy as JW, however, whose tonsils I could see from 10000 miles away) so quick one tonight. Thank God for the joys of a gentler time of publishing comics.
Interestingly I used to have such a crush on Chuch Connors.
I dunno, that comic cover just astounds me. Seriously, did no one see it???? The rifleman’s come hither sneer, the boy’s eyes, got wood… just a complete classic of it all going wrong. This comic sells for a fortune now. I doubt anyone has read the inside.

hey JW , we all had bad crushes when we were young, and i am sure if you were COMPLETELY honest you would admit that you did too!!!! I will put myself out on a limb and say that I had a crush on the professor from Gilligans Island. This could be another blog Nigel….get everyone to confess their childhood crushes. The prof was not my only love of the time either, I was a multiple crusher!!!!
And BTW and FYI I had a fall on Valentines day and fractured my right wrist and have had k wires x2 put in my wrist and am off work for 6 weeks.This is no fun as I am right handed and everything takes sooo long to do …e.g write in your blogs, and I need assistance with LOTS of things.Dressing is fun(JW you would be appalled at my dress sense at the mo) and no driving.Yep …its all good
Firstly, love the idea of that blog. I have so many childhood loves that would blow the nature versus nurture argument out of the water.
